Android. Huawei is preparing the LAUNCH of a REPLACEMENT

Android. The Huawei company is preparing the launch of a replacement operating system for, here is what it will offer for the customers of the Chinese company.

Android replacement for Huawei

Android. As you already know very well, the company Huawei is prohibited from offering updates for phones running this operating system, as long as they are not security updates. Google was forced by the US authorities to break commercial relations with those from Huawei, and to no longer offer them the opportunity to deliver important updates for the Android operating system to their customers starting this month.

Android. Although Huawei suffered a very hard blow this week, the Chinese company has been preparing for this situation for some time, and now says that it will not be affected that much. Those from Huawei have been developing an alternative operating system for Android since 2012, it being something completely different, but completely compatible with applications for Google's operating system, and even with web applications, which makes it quite versatile.

Android. Huawei is preparing the LAUNCH of a REPLACEMENT

Android. Huawei intends to replace Google's operating system with this alternative as early as 2019, according to the president of the consumer products division, if it will be sufficiently well prepared. Otherwise, the launch would take place in 2020, and just like Android, it would have been thought to work on mobile phones, tablets, televisions, computers, cars, and various other types of electronic devices, China being the market for which it was mainly thought.

Today, Huawei's consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong revealed that Huawei's operating system OS designed for the next generation of technology will be available in the fall of this year and at the latest next spring. The system is open to mobile phones, computers, tablets, TVs, cars and smart wearable devices, unified into an operating system, compatible with all Android applications and all web applications. If the Android app is recompiled, the running performance is improved by more than 60% on this operating system, which is a future-oriented microkernel.

Android. Hongmeng would be the name of this operating system, at least within the Huawei company, but the official one has not yet been established, and it is not known to what extent it will be distributed internationally. Huawei even thought of a replacement for Google Play in Android, but it is not known how it would move the applications to its own store, but there is probably a very well-laid plan for everything to be done.

Android. Even if Huawei decides to replace Google's operating system with its own, it is not yet known what will happen to the current phone models that are currently running Google's software.
