RCS & RDS. Orange, Vodafone, Telekom they thought most likely that they escaped the blows prepared by the Romanian Government, but the reality is completely different for the telecommunications companies. More precisely, an old idea that targets RCS & RDS, the other telecommunications companies, and not only that, is presented as being certain to be transformed into law, Liviu Dragnea making the announcement, but after the Minister of Finance, Eugen Teodorovici, announced it now a few months.

Then the Minister of Finance stated that he wanted to force Romanian companies to display the prices of services only in LEI for clients in the country, the idea being abandoned very shortly after it was officially presented. Well, now this idea is brought back into discussion by Liviu Dragnea, president of the Chamber of Deputies, and of the PSD, stating that everything will become law, so that RCS & RDS, other telecommunications companies, and not only, will be obliged to respect her.

RCS & RDS. Now the telecommunications companies, those in the real estate field, those in the automotive field, and a few others still display prices in euros for services, the rest being displayed in LEI for clients from Romania. If everything becomes reality, then for RCS & RDS, and the other telecom companies, the situation becomes complicated again, because they were profiting from the exchange rate, but they could be forced to make new price increases for services.
We will introduce a provision that in Romania only prices in lei will be discussed. I no longer want to hear, including in contracts, the price in euros, the counter value in lei is that much. In order to strengthen the national currency, that is what we will do in the next period, because the whole thing with the prices in euros is a hoax.
RCS & RDS. Liviu Dragnea says that displaying prices for services in euros instead of LEI is a hoax, and he is right, because we end up paying more money for services every month, depending on how much the euro increases. The companies pay salaries and services in LEI, collect in LEI, but at the euro value, and so the customers lose, so forcing RCS & RDS, of the other telecom companies, and not only, to display the prices exclusively in LEI, will be a very good idea .
RCS & RDS. Considering that the initial idea appeared somewhere around January, and we are hearing about it for the second time in May, I would not rush to believe that by 2020 it will end up being transformed into law.
