Watch 6. The Apple company is currently presenting the new version of the operating system for the Apple Watch, and has prepared a lot of interesting news for its customers. Unfortunately, so far we haven't found out anything about watchOS 6, and that makes today's surprises all the more interesting, so we will see for the first time the changes that no one could divulge until this moment.
Girls for Apple Watch
As expected, watchOS 6 will bring new watch faces, the first of which is a gradient one, another one showing the time in various hours, plus a new digital face. Apple also implements a "California" dial for watchOS 6, plus a new "solar" face, which changes depending on the position of the sun in the sky.
Apple implements a function called "taptic chimes", that is, when the time changes, the watch will vibrate slightly, and a sound will play to suggest the change.
New Applications
watchOS 6 brings the Audiobooks, Calculator and Voice Memos applications to the Apple Watch, the latter offering the possibility to calculate the tip as well, or how much several people have to pay at a table.
watchOS 6 will make the applications more independent of the iPhone, as we have already been told.
Apple Watch will also be able to stream music, all via the Internet.
App Store
Another very important change for watchOS 6 is the inclusion of the App Store for Apple Watch. This application store will allow us to install any applications directly from the watch, without having to use an iPhone.
Fitness and health
watchOS 6 also brings news for those who exercise, new monitoring systems being implemented by the Apple company. The applications will have trends for activities, and we will tell each other how good the exercises we do are.
watchOS 6 has also implemented a special application that monitors ambient noises and can tell us when they are too loud, and can damage our hearing over time.
Starting with watchOS 6, Apple Watch will be able to track women's menstrual cycle, and can also provide information about women's fertility moments. This functionality will also be offered on the iPhone, separately from watchOS 6, with the same news.
