The hackers use a function of Gmail and Google Calendar for this attack, sending them notifications to many users of the platforms, and asking them to access a website through which their data can be stolen if they are naive enough. Both Gmail and Google Calendar have a function that sends users a notification when an event is created for the calendar, and thus the hackers managed to attract some naive users, who managed to obtain their personal data.
