The First Foldable Laptop is just a Very Thick Tablet (VIDEO)

The first foldable laptop has part of the first presentations, and it looks like a very thick tablet that no one wants to use on a daily basis.

In May, Lenovo announced the first laptop with a foldable screen, that is, a 14-inch piece of plastic that is surrounded by the case and components and bends to become smaller, as we see with foldable phones. Well, the first prototypes of the foldable laptop developed by Lenovo have reached youtubers and journalists, and as you can see, we are actually talking about a foldable tablet, which has a very thick case.

In that thick case, laptop components are hidden, which is necessary since the product runs Windows 10, but the way it looks doesn't give me any confidence in the future of gadgets with foldable screens. Exactly as at Samsung GALAXY FOLD, you can see that the middle of the screen looks very strange, it seems to have a crease, and when the laptop is closed, there is a very large hole in the folding area, which for Samsung turned out to be a huge problem.

I don't know what your opinion is about the first laptop with a foldable screen, but I think that Lenovo is still very far from having something that not only looks good, but also works well enough. Even if for some the idea of folding that laptop and writing on a virtual keyboard seems like a good idea, in reality it's not that simple, and it's definitely not more productive than using a laptop with a physical keyboard.

Maybe I have too high expectations from the future of foldable gadgets, but what has appeared so far is very far from being revolutionary, but also very far from being usable in everyday life. Of course, this is just a prototype of a foldable laptop that Lenovo is still developing, but who imagines that by 2020, when it will be launched, the product will be greatly modified, they are delusional.

What do you think about this first foldable laptop from Lenovo?
