Tim Cook spoke these days with journalists from the USA to "calm the waters" after the announcement regarding the departure of Jony Ive from the design team company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. He stated that all the rumors that Jony Ive has not been involved in Apple projects for years are false, but this was seen in Apple products.
Tim Cook also stated that he has great confidence in the employees who remained, or came, in the team dealing with the design of future products of the Apple company. He says that they are very talented, and that they are preparing products that will blow us away when they are launched, but this is not the first time we hear such things.
Tim Cook has promised in the past that Apple is working on products that will support all fans, but I don't know if there is one, or two, launched in recent years that have done that. The reality is that Apple has not innovated for a very long time with a commercial product, the recently launched screen bringing many innovations, but not for the average user.
"The design team is phenomenally talented. As Jony has said, they're stronger than ever, and I have complete confidence that they will thrive under Jeff, Evans and Alan's leadership. We know the truth, and we know the incredible things they're capable of doing. The projects they're working on will blow you away."
