Banca Transilvania launched Apple Pay Cash in Romania just a few weeks after it was one of the banks that launched it as well Apple Pay for customers from our country. Apple Pay Cash is a system that allows very fast money transfers for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch customers, using only the iMessage platform, and Banca Transilvania has updated its App Store application to be able to offer this functionality today.
Banca Transilvania is, as far as I know, the only bank in Romania that has integrated Apple Pay Cash, and this even though including ING, or Orange Money, implemented Apple Pay for customers already last month. The launch of Apple Pay Cash for Banca Transilvania should not be a surprise to anyone, and this is because the service is integrated into the main one, so Apple probably also offered the possibility of launching it separately for customers.

Banca Transilvania included in the latest update of the BT Pay application for iPhone an extension that must be activated in iMessage in order to facilitate fast money transfers via Apple Pay Cash. Before that, you must activate the Apple Pay Cash payment system, including from the configuration application of your phones, and then you will be able to send money much more easily to any other iPhone users who have Apple Pay Cash active, in Romania, or other countries .
BT Pay always comes with news. By installing the BT Pay extension, you will be able to check your balance and transfer money from the iMessage application. In addition, the button for displaying the balance has been moved directly to the first screen for you to save time. Are you sending money via IBAN from BT Pay and need proof? From now on you can choose to receive an email with proof of the transaction.
Banca Transilvania moved surprisingly quickly with the implementation of Apple Pay Cash in Romania, and we will more than likely see something similar from ING in the near future, maybe even from Orange Money. In the meantime, if you upgrade to the BT Pay app, tell your friends to do the same, and then enjoy the ability to quickly transfer money through the iOS messaging app.
