Telekom Romania is a Partner in an AMAZING Project in Romania

Telekom Romania is a partner in an amazing project for our country, here is what the telecommunications operator announced today for local communications.

Telekom Romania announced today that it has become a partner in an amazing project for Romania, but a very important one that also aims to save the lives of people who cannot protect themselves. More precisely, Telekom Romania announced that it is part of the Butonul Rosu project, which aims to provide teleassistance and teleemergency services for elderly people in Romania who may have their lives in danger and cannot call emergency services.

Telekom Romania collaborates with Crucea Alb Galbena Romania in this project, which was carried out in a pilot phase with communication devices offered to 300 elderly people in Bucharest. The project was then extended to Bacau, Buzau, Constanta, and Telekom Romania offered its services for the elderly who could, with a single push of a button, request emergency help from the Romanian authorities, the project being a successful one.

At the end of 2018, Telekom Romania also offered the Brasov Social Assistance Directorate connectivity solutions to equip 100 elderly people with what they need to ask for help. More precisely, we are talking about a silicone bracelet that has an SOS button, a dedicated mobile phone, and of course a telephone subscription in the operator's network, a simple press of the button on the phone or bracelet, automatically initiating an emergency call.

"Telekom Romania is a connectivity partner for Butonul Roșu - the unique teleassistance and teleemergency system intended for the elderly in Romania. This service was successfully implemented in 2015 in the pilot center for the coordination of integrated care at home in the city of Bucharest by Crucea Alb Galbenă Romania for 300 elderly people and expanded the following year in Constanța, Buzău and Bacău for 400 beneficiaries through the Red Button project - Never alone."

Telekom Romania has provided equipment that contains information about the person who initiates the call, so dispatchers have the person's data instantly in front of them, including the location where they are when they ask for help. Starting this year, the project is being expanded, so that even more elderly people in Romania can benefit from free connectivity solutions that will allow them to ask for the help they need in a timely manner, even when they cannot call on their own.

The idea of those from Telekom Romania is worthy of all praise, and it is impressive that they managed to collaborate with the authorities so much to be able to test such a project in our country.
