Airplane EVACUATED because of a Picture that SCARED the Passengers

A plane that was supposed to take off from the airport in Newark, USA, was evacuated after a picture was sent to several phones and scared the passengers. We are talking about a picture of a vest with explosives, which terrorists use in attacks, it was sent via AirDrop to multiple iPhones on that plane.

Considering that people not only don't close AirDrop when they're not using it, but they also don't restrict receiving photos, the JetBlue plane was quickly filled with panic. The passengers who received the picture with the explosive vest gave the alert, and the plane was evacuated very quickly, but it took off after it was checked for the existence of bombs.

A picture of a suicide vest scared passengers on an entire plane

Considering that AirDrop technology was used to send the picture, of course the police do not know who exactly sent it to the plane's passengers. Apple could probably find out, but it would be too late for those who were seriously scared before taking off, and surely flew in fear to their destination.

"A flight from Newark was evacuated when someone sent an image of a suicide message to multiple Apple devices on the plane while passengers were waiting for takeoff. The plane was evacuated and was able to take off after police concluded there was no threat on board. But police have been unable to identify who sent the image in question."

In some cities, laws have been proposed against sending unsolicited photos via AirDrop, and this incident shows us that they should exist. The moral of this incident is that you must close AirDrop when you are not using it, because it consumes energy for nothing anyway, but if you don't want to do it, at least limit the receptions to contacts only.
