A Woman was ELECTRICATED and BURNED by an iPhone Charger

A woman in the USA was electrocuted and burned by an iPhone charger that she used too close to her head, and which apparently was not very safe. We're talking about a cheap third-party iPhone charger that generated 2nd degree burns around a woman's neck after it came into contact with the chain around her neck.

You can see in the image below how serious the burns are, the woman having her phone charged under a pillow, when she sat on it. The chain came into contact with the charging cable, and due to the fact that it was not well insulated, it sent quite a lot of electric current through the chain, and generated the respective burns.

It is not known what kind of charger the woman used, but most cheap third-party chargers have problems of this kind, and there have been cases of electrocution. Unlike the original chargers, the third-party ones do not have quality components that prevent the transfer of current to the outside of the case or the cable.

The woman was lucky that more current was not transmitted through the cable and she was not killed, the burns with which she chose seem to leave permanent marks. You must be extremely careful when you choose to buy accessories for your phones, because the cheaper ones can seriously endanger your life.
