RCS & RDS has announced for some time that in September the availability of the 5G network will also reach Sinaia, Bușteni, Predeal, Poiana Brașov, Brașov, Timișoara, Craiova and Sibiu, so theoretically, it should already exist there as well. RCS & RDS had already launched 5G coverage in Bucharest, Constanța and Mamaia, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca and Iași, and this is how it ends up having the largest 5G coverage in our country, which probably no one thought was possible in the summer.

RCS & RDS managed to take it far ahead of all the competitors in Romania with the 5G network it is creating, but it is possible that it will be very quickly overtaken by Orange and Vodafone in the coming months. Those from Telekom will probably not invest in the 5G network since the German group wants to sell the assets in Romania, and RCS & RDS could buy part of them, but they don't want the existing customers either, which is problematic.
RCS & RDS is currently the telecom operator with the most extensive coverage in Romania, a real surprise, considering the problems with the 3G and 4G networks.
