Apple is moving more of the iPhone production beyond China, where it will also produce the iPhone 11

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has made an extremely important decision regarding the production of its iPhone phones, so that it will soon manufacture the iPhone XR in India, a country where some phones are already produced. Those from Foxconn have built factories there where they still produce older models of the iPhone, but those from Apple have already requested that the iPhone XR be manufactured there, and from here someday they will move on to the production of the iPhone 11.

The iPhone XR is produced in a Foxconn factory that was built near the city of Chennai, and this after test production was organized for this model for several months before final production began. If everything goes well with regard to the production of iPhone XR phones, then Apple will eventually make the decision to produce the iPhone 11 phones there, but this will happen, most likely in 2020.

The iPhone XR is already produced in India, followed by the iPhone 11

Apple started the production of phones in India with the models of the iPhone 6S series, continuing with the iPhone 7, and now the iPhone XR will be produced there, the manufactured models will be sold locally and exported to other continents. Apple started producing iPhones in India to avoid the 20% price tax imposed on products imported into the country, but things are going so well that production is being increased.

Apple wants to get rid of its dependence on China, and after starting to manufacture iPhones in Brazil, it requested the opening of factories in India, and it seems that the latter country is successful. Considering the problems between the US and China at the moment, it would not be excluded that the production in India would increase, and that Apple would have viable alternatives in the situation in which it could no longer produce phones in China.
