The iPhone 12 will look so strange with the new quadruple camera that Apple wants to implement in the phones it will launch next year.

iPhone 12 it will have a quadruple camera, the information being provided by people who have information about the plans that the Apple company has at the moment, which turned out to be a very good surprise. The problem is that an iPhone 12 with a quad camera will look quite strange, as you can see in the image below, and this is because the inclusion of another image sensor would not help the design.

The iPhone 12 will have a ToF image sensor integrated by Apple in addition to the current image sensors that are in the iPhone 11 series phones, and this should somehow be squeezed into the current square structure. In the image below you can see what this fourth image sensor could look like, and how difficult it would be to insert it into the current assembly that those from Cupertino thought for the cameras of their own phones.

The iPhone 12 will not have this ToF image sensor integrated separately from the current assembly, and that's because Apple doesn't really have room to introduce another component of this kind outside that area. Most phone manufacturers have implemented ToF image sensors next to the main camera of the devices, and in the iPhone 12 another logical implementation does not seem to be obvious, but maybe the first sketches will clarify.

The iPhone 12 should have the first production sketches of the prototypes published by Cupertino's partners in the coming months, so we should know in advance what we will get. To be honest, if the iPhone 12 will have the ToF image sensor integrated in such a way, it's hard to believe that anyone could complain about the implementation, so you'd better get used to what everyone will get the customers.
