Huawei officially admitted that the lack of Android in its phones is a serious problem, but there was no need for a confirmation from the Chinese company, because everyone knew that. Those from Huawei have also developed an alternative operating system with which they hope to replace Android, but unfortunately it is very far from being 100% ready to be offered to all customers, so it is not yet a viable alternative.
Huawei admitted that at the moment it is not interested in getting rid of the Android operating system, but it stated that it is willing to get rid of Google Mobile Services. Here we are talking about the Google Play Store and the system services on the basis of which this application works, and many others, in the Android platform, Huawei phones not being able to install and use some of the applications for the Google operating system without this platform.

Huawei knows that its customers do not really want to use their phones without Google Mobile Services, but because it cannot offer the platform in them, it tries to offer Huawei Mobile Services. Unlike GMS, HMS is not something that has been natively integrated into Android, and can be implemented by developers even when they produce the applications, so that Huawei phone users are left with the impossibility of using any applications.
Huawei hopes that the US will lift the sanctions imposed against it for more than half a year, and hopes that this will happen very soon, but in the meantime it can't really do anything but wait. However, the good part is that Huawei does not want to give up Android yet, so all its customers with phones will remain in the future with the possibility of using the innovations that Google is also implementing.
Huawei wants to implement Harmony OS in its phones so that it can be run alternatively with Android in a dual-boot system, so it will have a pretty bright future, as things appear.
