Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), was completely destroyed by Huawei and Samsung in T3 2019 in mobile phone sales, and this despite the fact that the iPhone 11 had an unexpectedly good success in various markets around the world. According to those from Canalys and Strategy Analytics, Apple was overtaken by both Huawei and Samsung in phone sales, and the differences are small for the estimates regarding the evolution of Apple's phones in the last three months.

Apple would have sold 43.5 million iPhone phones in T3 2019, 3.4 million less than in T2 2019, the iPhone 11 series reducing the disaster that the Apple company was approaching very quickly. Strategy Analytics presents a slightly better situation for Apple, with 45.6 million units sold, so a decrease of only 1.3 million, but both companies show the same difference between those from Cupertino, Huawei and the Koreans from Samsung.

Huawei has sales estimated by both companies of almost 67 million phones in Q3 2019, the differences between them being only 100.000 units, so absolutely nothing significant. In the case of those from Samsung, the situation is somewhat similar, the difference being only 700.000 between estimates, and compared to those from Apple, the Chinese and Koreans keep a very comfortable distance in terms of smartphone sales.

Apple has no way of catching up with Samsung and Huawei in phone sales considering that the differences between the companies are very large, and this despite the sanctions imposed by the US against the Chinese. On the other hand, those from Apple do not have to fear the competition from Xiaomi or OPPO, both companies registering sales declines, just like those from Cpertino.

Apple lost the battle on the smartphone market with Huawei and Samsung, and as things stand at the moment, maybe only in Q4 2019 would they have a chance to surpass the Chinese again.
