Planet Mars: ESA Unveils Modules for HIBERNATION (PHOTO)

The planet Mars has been revealed by ESA the modules that will be used by the astronauts for hibernation during the journey to the distant celestial body.

Planet Mars they are going to have the first astronauts sent by NASA, maybe even in collaboration with ESA, the European Space Agency, in the next decade, and today we see what their hibernation modules could look like. We are talking about a journey of several months to reach the planet Mars, and for the astronauts to get there without consuming all the food, and without getting very tired, hibernation will play a very important role in transportation.

ESA has published two images that show the whole world its vision of hibernation modules for astronauts who will reach Mars, or other planets that require long-term transport. The first image shows us the hibernation modules themselves, the astronauts will be placed in them before leaving for the planet Mars, where they will spend a few months of their lives before arriving near the planet.

In the second image, the planet Mars shows the entire module of the ship in which the hibernation modules would be mounted, and those from ESA claim that the ships themselves should be smaller for this process to work. Approximately six astronauts could stay in a ship that also has hibernation modules included, so we are talking about a small number of people who would be sent to the planet Mars in a single mission, which was to be expected.

The planet Mars is far away and has a different gravitational force than that of the Earth, so the astronauts would have 21 recovery days at their disposal before actually arriving at the location. This means that when they actually land on the planet Mars, they will be able to fulfill their mission without being affected by several months of constant sleep, but a lot of preparation is needed for everything to go smoothly.

ESA and NASA will definitely test this entire hibernation process for a long time before they can send various teams of astronauts to the planet Mars, so it remains to be seen what exactly they will reveal to humanity.
