TERRIBLE news for Huawei, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO CUSTOMERS

Huawei has some terrible news, this is what will happen to its customers and how big the problem has become for it at the moment, unfortunately.

huawei terrible news EU customers

Huawei the other day he had very good news from the US, which decided to allow some local companies to resume their commercial activities with the Chinese, almost 300 companies have been asking for this for a long time. Although in the US things seem to be improving for the Chinese, unfortunately it seems that in Europe things are going much worse, and this is because Huawei is going to have, through a European directive, severely limited access to 5G networks on the continent.

In a meeting that took place on Friday, ambassadors of all EU countries approved a legislative proposal that will prohibit certain GSM equipment manufacturers from supplying their products for 5G networks, and Huawei will be affected. The company was not mentioned in the legislative proposal, but it provides a series of conditions based on which these suppliers must be chosen, and Huawei will not fulfill at least the one regarding the obligation to provide the government of another country with access to equipment and data taken from they.

TERRIBLE news for Huawei, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO CUSTOMERS

Huawei will practically have a European problem with access to 5G networks, and this after a similar legislation was created in Germany to limit Chinese access to 5G infrastructure, but without directly banning it. At the European level, things are about the same, the EU not wanting to implicitly damage its diplomatic and commercial relations with China, but imposes a series of restrictions that Huawei will not fulfill without a change in Chinese legislation, which will not come.

"EU countries on Friday approved a tough line for selecting 5G suppliers, including checking the domestic legal framework they are subject to, which could deal a blow to market leader Huawei Technologies in the telecommunications equipment market. EU countries should take into account non-technical factors such as the legal and policy framework to which providers in third countries may be subject."

Huawei had very big problems because of the Chinese legislation which stipulates that it is obliged to provide the government in Beijing with any kind of information from its products, including about customers, without judicial supervision, and here lies the big problem. If this proposal becomes law at the European level, then including Romania will be obliged to verify Huawei's ability to provide equipment for the local 5G infrastructure.

Huawei is accused by a deputy from Romania of trying to intimidate him in his attempts to investigate this very problem, so there are going to be a few extremely interesting months for everyone.
