NASA recently presented his vision regarding the module that will transport to the MOON the robots that will explore various regions of it, but that will also be used to transport the materials that will arrive there for the astronauts. We are talking about a module that will land and bring the NASA robots to the surface of the moon, and from there they will move on their own to explore everything that we have not yet discovered, and the astronauts will use them for transport.
NASA has already awarded the contracts for the transport of various types of equipment to the LUNA, but it has not yet finalized how these larger robots, which will have to work alone, will get there. In the image below, those from NASA present a medium-sized module that would be used to transport at least one robot to the moon that will reach the polar area of the Earth's natural satellite.

NASA thought the module to carry a robot that will weigh about 300 kilograms, and the transport should take place sometime between 2021 and 2022, before new people are sent to the MOON. NASA wants to make a base on the MOON from which to send the first people to the planet Mars, but before doing that, it must have a series of necessary equipment there so that the astronauts can live without too many problems.
NASA still has a lot of work to do until it will have a fully functional module ready to be sent to the MOON, the robot being already very close to being ready to get there and explore. Apart from that, NASA is still preparing the astronauts, with a series of changes, including for the suits they would use there, but also those that would be used on the planet Mars.
NASA will continue to reveal all the progress it will make in preparing the new missions for the MOON and the planet Mars, the expectations being very high regarding it.
