Digi Mobil problem with a TERRIBLE news for all customers

Digi Mobil has a new problem that it did not expect, and this comes as very bad news for customers in Romania, here is what is happening at the moment.

The problem of Digi Mobil Veste GROAZNICA Customers

Digi Mobil has a new unforeseen problem, unfortunately for those from RCS & RDS, and this puts even more pressure on the mobile phone operator, which nevertheless started to implement some "protection" measures. Specifically, it seems that Digi Mobil could lose the opportunity to buy Telekom's mobile service infrastructure after what PRO TV shareholders decided to buy Telekom, but not partially, but entirely, with all clients.

Digi Mobil would have followed to buy only Telekom's mobile telephony infrastructure, without taking over the customers, which made the negotiations between the two companies extremely difficult, and the Germans could choose the easier way. A complete sale of all Telekom assets in Romania would be the simplest solution for the Germans, but that would leave Digi Mobil without the possibility to solve its problem with coverage and signal quality.

Digi Mobil problem with a TERRIBLE news for all customers

Digi Mobil needs the 2G, 3G, 4G infrastructure of Telekom in order to radically improve its mobile telephony services in Romania, but unfortunately it is very possible that it will not be able to buy it. Digi Mobil has already started a process of creating and expanding a 2G infrastructure in Romania, mobile phone towers have already been installed in two counties in the country, but much more is needed for the problem to be solved.

Digi Mobil will more than likely try, maybe even together with Orange, to convince Telekom not to sell its assets to the foreign investor group that wants to buy it entirely, but things are getting difficult. A sale to that group would not bring the investigations that the sale to Digi Mobil and Orange would bring for Telekom, so there are many things to consider in the context in which the Germans want to get rid of everything they have in our country .

Digi Mobil must find some very creative solutions for the problems it has at the moment, and this could require much larger investments than the telecommunications operator would have wanted.
