Samsung remains ESSENTIAL for iPhone and Apple

Samsung still remains essential for Apple, but also for the iPhone, this is why the Americans can't get rid of their dependence on the Korean company for the time being.

Samsung ESSENTIAL iPhone Apple

Samsung it still remains an essential partner for those from Apple and the production of iPhone phones, and this in the conditions that Americans have been trying for some time to get rid of their dependence on Korean products. We told you today that the entire series of iPhone 12 phones will have OLED screens, and the Apple company will buy these components from Samsung for each of the three models that will be launched for customers around the world.

Samsung has been the main supplier of OLED screens for Apple since 2017, when the iPhone X was launched, and although the Americans have been looking for alternatives to the Korean products, so far they have found absolutely nothing. LG is unable to take over enough of the production that Samsung provides for Apple, the same is true in the case of Japan Display, and BOE does not seem to have good enough screens from a qualitative point of view.

Samsung remains ESSENTIAL for iPhone and Apple

Samsung remains the main supplier of OLED screens for the Apple company and the iPhone, and this brings it many billions of dollars annually from those in Cupertino, Apple being one of the main sources of income. A few years ago, Apple managed to eliminate Samsung from among the companies that produce processors for its phones and tablets, but with the screens it still does not have a solution to "get rid" of its dependence on the company from South Korea.

Samsung generates a good part of its quarterly revenues thanks to its screens division, it compensates for the decrease in profit that the mobile phone division still registers despite the massive increase in sales. We have known for some time that Samsung earns a very large part of its money from the Apple company, the Americans being the biggest buyers of OLED screens for mobile phones, but as iPhone sales decrease, so do Korean incomes.

Samsung will remain Apple's main partner for the sale of OLED screens for a very long time, and this is because the Americans will not soon have an alternative for the Korean production lines.
