Almost a year has passed since GEO 114/2018 was adopted and turned almost the entire economy in Romania upside down, including the activity of Digi Mobil and other telecom operators.
Digi Mobil was one of those who increased the prices for services, but also one of those who had these changes blocked, just like Vodafone or Telekom, but the Romanian Government could save the whole situation now. Digi Mobil said that it increased the prices because for 10 years the entire RCS & RDS group has not made any changes to the prices it charges for customers in Romania, and that it needed this to survive. ANPC blocked their price increase, just like Vodafone or Telekom, and Digi Mobil obtained a victory in court against the authorities, just like Vodafone, but it still cannot raise prices to the desired value.
