The Samsung GALAXY S11 will have this integrated chip in only some of the models sold globally, the rest will have the future Exynos 990/9830 chip, which unfortunately will not be as powerful, and will not have as many novelties . However, returning to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, it will have a separate 5G X55 modem that will allow the Samsung GALAXY S11 series phones to connect to 5G mmWave networks with frequencies below 6 GHz.

The Samsung GALAXY S11 will have the same modem as the iPhone 12, and both should offer extremely good performance for customers who are eager to benefit from the fastest Internet browsing speeds on mobile phones. The problem is that the X55 modem will be separated from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, and this means that the Samsung GALAXY S11 will not offer such good autonomy and will not be very thin.
The Samsung GALAXY S11 will not benefit from a 5G modem integrated into the processor, just as the iPhone 12 will not have this great benefit either, but this is something that was expected from both phone models, based on the specifications announced in the past. Interestingly, the Snapdragon 865 cannot be integrated with any other 5G modem than the X55 from Qualcomm, and manufacturers who do not want 5G will have to implement a separate 4G modem, but for the Samsung GALAXY S11 this is not a problem.
The Samsung GALAXY S11 should come close to the iPhone 11 in terms of performance with this new processor, but we will learn more about this only when it is officially announced by the Korean company.
