NASA presents the First Hotel for Robots in Outer Space

NASA presents the first hotel for robots that are sent into outer space to be used in various missions, this is what it looks like.

NASA The First Cosmic Space Robot Hotel

NASA develops all kinds of projects that very few people think about, and one of them envisages a hotel for the robots that are used on the International Space Station by the astronauts who are sent to carry out their missions there. In the images below you can see RiTS, a hood specially created by NASA for the robots that are used on the International Space Station, it being prepared to be sent there today.

NASA wants to send this hotel for robots into outer space in a few hours using a SpaceX ship that will also carry supplies for the astronauts who live on the International Space Station, two new robots will also be taken. These robots have large spectrometers that will be able to quickly detect the presence of gases such as ammonia, so any possible problems with gas leaks from the station will be discovered.

NASA will also store these robots in the hotel specially created for such devices, it being thought to warm them, but also to offer protection against radiation, and also against micrometeorites that move through the universe at very high speeds. The hotel created by NASA for robots will allow their storage outside the International Space Station, instead of inside, thus freeing up very important space to store other elements.

“For each of its stored instruments, RiTS will provide warmth and physical protection against radiation and micrometeroids, or tiny high-velocity objects hurtling through space. Its thermal system maintains ideal temperatures for instruments, helping them to remain functional. This hardware will significantly reduce the time and cost for the station crew to implement leak detection capabilities using Dextre. With RiTS, we will have easier and faster access to RELL, which can help ensure the safety of our astronauts in space.”

NASA has thought in detail what it wants to do for the astronauts who are present on the International Space Station and to help them as much as possible with robots that make their work easier, but which cannot be stored inside the objective. The idea found by those from NASA is an extremely interesting one, and it will certainly be very useful for the astronauts who will have less trouble with the space occupied by various instruments.

NASA will launch all the equipment today, it will soon arrive at the International Space Station, but the actual use will not be done as quickly as some of those who see the unfolding of events imagine.
