CES 2020: Intel Presents the Foldable Laptop Worth Buying

Intel is present at CES 2020, and within this international convention the American company unveiled a laptop with a foldable OLED screen, as a competitor to the ThinkPad X1 Fold, announced by Lenovo.

However, Intel thought of something that looks much better than Lenovo's creation, having a much more attractive design, being much thinner in appearance, and the OLED screen also has a much larger diagonal.

Intel presented a folding laptop concept that has a diagonal of 17.3 inches, a huge difference compared to the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold, which has a screen with a diagonal of only 13 inches, so it is much harder for users to use.

Intel and Lenovo presented laptops that run the Windows 10 operating system in a version optimized for touch screens, and their solution seems to be a much better one than the one proposed by Lenovo.

Intel will not release this laptop as its own product for customers, but intends to collaborate with some current partners for them to use its technologies to release foldable laptops with such large screens.

Intel has a different strategy than Lenovo, but it remains to be seen how many companies will be willing to license these technologies from the American company, and how much these foldable laptops would cost in the end.
