Because just a few years ago there were numerous controversies regarding the introduction of chip passports, now the Romanian Church was asked what its opinion is about these new types of identification documents.
The Romanian Church replied that there is no problem of a spiritual nature regarding the chip ballots, and that there would not be any priest, at least from what is known now, who would be against them. The Romanian Church embraces technology, or at least this is evident from the very good answer given by its representative, he came to calm the people who a few years ago said that passports with chips also affect the spirit.

Chip ballots, as we told you yesterday, are imposed by the European Union for all countries in the community space, so whether we like it or not, they must be done for all Romanian citizens. The chip ballots must be ready for issuance by August 3, 2021, when the maximum date by which the authorities can prepare for the issuance of the new type of identity document for Romanian citizens expires.
