Telekom: RADICAL Decision for Customers with a NEGATIVE PREMIERE

Telekom made a radical decision for all customers in Romania, bringing a negative premiere that amazed absolutely everyone in the country.

Radical Telekom

Telekom announced yesterday the third price increase for customers in Romania in the course of a single year, a first that shows us how the situation is within the telecommunications group. Telekom revealed its decision through a press release, and provided a multitude of details for this decision, but in the end they matter less, more important being the fact that prices have increased and customers pay more.

Telekom creates an unprecedented situation in Romania with so many increases made for the services it offers to clients, but worse, it does not offer them any other alternative than the termination of the contract. Practically, all the increases that Telekom made, just like Vodafone and RCS & RDS, were based on forcing customers to accept a higher price, or leave, as happened with Orange, who moved customers to more expensive subscriptions.

Telekom: RADICAL Decision for Customers with a NEGATIVE PREMIERE

Telekom makes this new increase before the sale to Orange Romania is completed, and it is possible that a connection with this transaction is behind the real reasons for the price increase. Irrespective of this situation or not, it is certain that the economists from Telekom did not foresee so well how the operating costs of the company would increase, or perhaps the desire for profit was greater than the impact on the public image.

Telekom had the price increases from the beginning of 2019 overlooked because other operators did exactly the same thing, but now the situation is completely different for everyone. Probably no one understands why there is a need for a new price increase at Telekom, but probably at some point we will find out the real reasons and their connection with the sale of the Romanian group could be much more important than we thought.

Telekom will impose a price increase starting on January 1, and of course all customers who do not want to pay the increased prices will be able to cancel their subscriptions without problems.
