Vodafone totally amazed his clients in the middle of this month when he made the decision to apply a very hard blow to the Telekom company and "steal" from "under his nose" the partnership he had with Discovery in Romania. Vodafone has launched in its portfolio all the television stations that the people from Discovery distribute, and this brought them to customers in the country for the first time, for a few days, including the TV station Eurosport 4K, the people from RCS & RDS launching it then.
Vodafone brought Eurosport 4K including a free trial that allows customers to try it whenever they want until March 31, after which a fee will be charged for viewing it. It is not yet known the value of this fee that Vodafone will charge to offer customers the opportunity to watch the Eurosport 4K television station, but it will probably not be high.

Vodafone however, it cannot transmit the Eurosport 4K television station for any kind of client, but only for those who have televisions capable of playing the content at such a resolution. Both in the case of Vodafone customers, as well as in the case of customers of any other television service provider, it is necessary that the television on which the content is played is capable of displaying images at 4K resolution, otherwise the television station will not be able to be seen.
Vodafone it also does not have recommendations for 4K televisions on which customers can watch all the broadcasts that the station does, but it tells customers that without such a product they will not be able to enjoy the service. Vodafone is also somewhat at a disadvantage compared to those from RCS & RDS, who have two 4K television stations available in Romania, but the operator can solve this by including Travel Mix 4K, or any other station that is approved for retransmission in Romania.
Vodafone is only the second telecommunications operator in Romania to bring a 4K television station to its offer, but it is only one of the two that have such TV stations available now.
