Huawei: Customers are the ones who PAY the Company's BAN

Huawei has severely limited ability to sell its products in some European countries, but the customers are the ones who pay for these bans.

Huawei customers pay

Huawei breathed a sigh of relief the other day after Great Britain and the European Union announced extremely similar measures regarding it, i.e. a severe limitation of its role in 5G networks, but not a ban. Both Great Britain and the European Union decided that Huawei could sell 5G equipment to telecommunications operators, but that they should be used in the least important areas of the networks, in small quantities, and not near important objectives.

Huawei it was supported in various countries by the large telecommunication groups that built their networks based on its cheap equipment, but the decisions taken now are somewhat affecting their businesses. In Great Britain, some operators have already started to announce that the limitations imposed on Huawei will cost them hundreds of millions of pounds annually, and in Europe we will hear similar announcements from the big telecommunications operators, which of course was to be expected.

Huawei: Customers are the ones who PAY the Company's BAN

Huawei remains with a limited capacity to operate in Europe, the operators remain with higher costs, and in the end the customers are the ones who will pay for the national security of the country, twice. Once through the fees and taxes they already pay to the state, and the second time through an increase in the prices of telecommunications services, which will definitely come, but Huawei has no way to control this due to the limitations imposed by to governments.

Huawei it ended up in this situation because of the alleged relations with the Chinese government, the information services there, etc., but also because of the country's legislation, which obliges companies to provide data to the authorities, upon request, at their discretion. No matter what the situation is in China, we, as customers, will pay for the fact that the mobile phone networks will be more secure, and Huawei has little to do at the moment other than to focus on the markets in which it is accepted.

Huawei he said all the time that he had nothing to do with the government in Beijing, with the intelligence services there, but the way the Chinese state keeps working in its defense and support shows a completely different reality.
