NASA: AMAZING announcement about the Sun that STUNNED the Whole Planet

NASA made an amazing announcement about the sun with which it managed to stun the whole planet, here are the achievements and discoveries revealed by the agency's researchers.

NASA sun

NASA continues the series of amazing announcements about the sun and has stunned the whole planet with something that comes thanks to the research that the American space agency has been doing for several months around the star. Those from NASA have officially announced the fact that the Parker solar probe has managed to break two world records, and perhaps from the entire galaxy, becoming the fastest object in history, but also the object that came closest to the sun.

NASA claims that the Parker probe recently passed by the sun again at a speed of 393,044 KM/h and at a distance of 18.6 million kilometers, surpassing the records also set by it in 2018. Then the Parker probe managed to reach a speed of 247,000 KM/h when it reached a distance of 42.7 million kilometers from the sun, so we are talking about a 50% increase in speed, and more than halving the distance from our star.

NASA says that the Parker probe is equipped with protective material that will allow it to approach at a distance of 4.3 million kilometers from the Sun, so a quarter compared to the one recorded now. It is not known at what speed the Parker solar probe will move at that moment, but everything will happen in 2024, according to those from NASA, so it is expected that the speed will be perhaps even double, or triple, compared to that of now, if we consider the increase in speed between the last trips.

"During this perihelion, the Parker Solar Probe set its own records for speed and approach to the Sun for a man-made object. The spacecraft reached a speed of 244.255 miles per hour (about 393.044 kilometers per hour) as it whipped around the Sun at a distance of 11,6 million miles (about 18,6 million kilometers). The Parker Solar Probe heat shield, called the Thermal Protection System, or TPS, also reached new record temperatures.”

NASA also revealed the fact that the Parker probe managed to observe a "hidden" solar explosion, and this in contrast to the rest which are very easy to observe due to the plasma thrown into the universe. The way in which this solar explosion took place, visible in the image above, somewhat misled the researchers as well, they initially failed to realize what was happening, but in the end NASA managed to analyze correctly the image.

NASA is going to reveal more information about the sun as the Parker probe sends more data, and it is preparing to send another ship to study its north and south poles.
