The Romanian Police demand an IMPORTANT Modification in the Highway Code

Romanian police welcome lights

Romanian police demands that an important change be made to the Highway Code so that the safety of traffic participants is greatly improved, and this is because a lot of people do not think the way they should.

Romanian police requests that the Road Code requires that all cars have their dipped beam headlights, or daytime running lights, on, including when driving on expressways, national/European roads, not just on the highway, as is the case now.

Romanian police wants cars to be much more easily visible in traffic from a greater distance, and all new models already have dipped beam lights on all the time, in various forms, but the older ones don't have something like that, so drivers must be forced to become visible.

Romanian police will practically force drivers to have on all the time either the dipped beam or the standard meeting lights that many cars have automatically activated from the factory, without also activating the fog lights, especially at night, a stupid thing that many do in cities too .

"When driving on highways, expressways, European national (E) and national (DN) roads, motorists are obliged to use dipped headlights or daytime running lights during the day. It is known that the number of kilometers of highways, expressways and European national roads is much too small in relation to the total number of kilometers of existing roads in our country."

Romanian police initiated a legislative project to bring this very good change to the Highway Code, and it would be good if it were applied, but it would be good if fines were also applied for those who do not respect the rule, which is not happening at the moment face.
