PS5, or Playstation 5, received very bad news yesterday after it was revealed that Sony has very big problems with maintaining the production price at a reasonable value that does not force it to sell the console very expensively.
PS5 it still has the beginning of a very bad news there, and this is because in reality, the selling price would be much higher than the 450 dollars that analysts are currently estimating just for the production of the console.
PS5 it would cost 450 dollars just to be manufactured, but Sony has to cover including the development costs of the console, the costs of packaging, accessories, transport, promotion, etc., so the selling price would be considerably higher.
PS5 it had a selling price of $499 announced by some rumors so far, but in reality the selling price could be much higher than that, maybe even $550, to cover all Sony's costs.
People are misunderstanding a report about PS5 components.
If the console mfr costs $450, there is still packaging, shipping wholesale, and retail to consider. $450 isn't where the cost stops... it's where it starts.

PS5 it will be sold at a certain point and at a discount, and this could be impossible very soon after the launch if the selling price is not high enough from the start, so we should expect very bad news from the Japanese.
