Those from Telekom have announced that this year they want to make investments again in the infrastructure through which they offer their telecommunications services in Romania, and this after in recent years it had big problems with liquidity, and it went through a massive restructuring.
Telekom now wants to invest money in its mobile phone infrastructure to improve the signal where it has deficiencies, but also to replace some of the older equipment. Those from Telekom are now investing in 4G before launching the 5G network that some customers are waiting for, but not more than the reintroduction of the Discovery group stations, which are much more important than the 5G network that the company has not yet prepared.

Telekom follows a reverse strategy compared to those from Digi Mobil, who have now begun to invest massively in a 2G network, with which they have already begun to cover increasingly large areas of the country. Telekom has an extensive 2G network, but they need better services on the 3G and 4G sides before launching 5G, for that to happen they have to invest a lot of money, and they might have it now which returned to profit again.
