UBER: THE IMPORTANT CHANGE, what you NEED TO KNOW Now (VIDEO)

UBER made a very important change the other day for customers who make rides through its platform, here's what everyone needs to know now.

UBER made a very important change for the races that customers make in 2020, and the change is a very good one because it is meant to keep people safe when recording races. Since the beginning of the year, UBER has implemented a new special function for the US application that helps customers make sure that the car they get into is the one that was assigned to them at the start of their ride.

UBER introduced PIN codes for the rides we do in Romania, the function being optional for all customers who want to be 100% sure that they don't get into a car other than the one that was sent to them. The function was tested by UBER since September in the USA, and since January it was launched in the USA and Canada, the video clip above demonstrating how it can be used by customers who want to make all the rides in complete safety.

UBER has launched this new function including in Belgium these days, Brussels being the first European city where making trips with a PIN security code is possible for customers. When initiating the ride, customers can request to receive a 4-digit PIN that they can ask the driver to enter when he comes to pick them up, and if the UBER application displays it as entered by the driver, then the passenger can board without reserves.

"They can see the confirmation before getting into the vehicle and they don't have to take the driver's word for it. We are constantly innovating to give passengers and drivers the tools they need to ensure a safe and reliable experience. This new feature provides added safety for users as they can safely enter the correct vehicle.”

UBER introduces this measure even with a double role, because the mutual verification by the customer and the driver ensures both parties that the right person gets into the right car. Using various ridesharing services over the years, only once did it happen to me that another person got into an ordered car, so this problem would not be very frequent, but it is good that there are safety measures implemented for us.

UBER will definitely launch the function in other European countries as soon as possible, it will also arrive in Romania in 2020, but for now it is not clear exactly when.
