CityLink Bucharest

CityLink was launched today in Bucharest, and it is a new car sharing service that should have prices comparable to those of the taxi rides we do in the city, the rates being 0.6 LEI per minute and 0.8 LEI per km.

CityLink basically asks for 44 LEI for a one-hour ride over a distance of 10 km, the price being comparable to that of taxis, UBER, Clever, but here we are talking about a car that you drive yourself, you can use it shopping, etc.

CityLink is accessible from an application for mobile phones, both iPhone and Android, allowing you to find the 150 hybrid cars in Bucharest, which also enjoy free parking in the capital, so less hassle.

"A new car sharing service has been launched in Bucharest. CityLink offers over 150 hybrid cars at a price of 0.6 lei/minute and free parking, anywhere in Bucharest

Bucharest, 28.02.2020. A local team of entrepreneurs, funded by Neogen Capital, launched CityLink, a new e-car sharing service, with a fleet of 150 Toyota Yaris and Toyota Corolla cars, available in Bucharest, all with hybrid propulsion and automatic gearbox . In addition, every car in the CityLink fleet has a booster seat for children available.

The price starts from 0.6 lei/minute plus 0.8 lei/km (depending on the type of car), with a daily maximum of 140 lei. In addition, through the "Park & Keep" option, CityLink also allows long-term reservations, up to several consecutive days, depending on the user's needs.
And because parking is one of the stress factors most often mentioned by drivers in the Capital, all CityLink car users benefit from free parking in all parking lots in Bucharest managed by the municipality, regardless of the parking time.

"Smart cities need smart mobility, and car sharing services contribute to the elimination of essential barriers in the traffic of the Capital and the entire country - the dependence on the availability of another driver. In addition, by using hybrid cars we actively contribute to the reduction of pollution", declares Igor Grosu, CEO of CityLink.

"Neogen Capital's vision is to support projects with fast growth prospects and digital revolution potential. We are no strangers to the urban mobility area, we have already made a successful exit with Clever and we have an extensive portfolio of investments, including BestJobs, Vivre, Casta, Frisbo or Sailo", adds Călin Fusu, CEO of Neogen Capital.

The CityLink service is accessible through a dedicated mobile application, both for Android smartphone users and for users with IOS terminals. Payment takes place automatically, exclusively through the mobile application. The complete list of tariffs for using the CityLink service is available at www.citylink.ro/tarife-masini.”
