Facebook Messenger has launched a new design by the Facebook company, taking users by surprise with some changes requested for years and years, but implemented only now. A few years ago, Facebook Messenger implemented a new section called "Discover", it disappeared from the application thanks to the new design, now the emphasis is on easier communication with friends than on the discovery of virtual robots.
Facebook Messenger will no longer have the "Discover" section available in its interface, so users will have only two sections, the one for chats, conversations, and the one for friends, people. You can see in the image below that the application is now much simpler and easier to use, Facebook Messenger will continue to have ads, but at least we no longer have those virtual robots that very few people access anyway.

Facebook Messenger also eliminates the possibility of seeing "instant games", those games specially created by Facebook for its platforms, they also disappear from the main application. Facebook Messenger still keeps the stories that users publish daily, and which are apparently quite important for those at Facebook, but they will probably disappear at some point, if they are no longer considered useful.
Facebook Messenger is a messaging application with about 1.5 billion users globally, and Facebook has changed it a lot over the years, and made it a bit difficult for ordinary users to use. The world cried because of this, but Facebook Messenger remained largely unchanged until now, when with a new head of the division that develops the application, it returns to its "origins", in a much simpler version.
Facebook Messenger will have the new design released in the next period for people all over the world, so you won't see it from today, but you can expect it after today's update of the application.
