Government of Romania: IMPORTANT announcement regarding the Coronavirus

The Government of Romania, through the interim minister of the Ministry of Interior and Transport, announced that on Friday the first thermal scanners will be brought to Romania and will be used in airports to detect people who have a fever when they enter Romania.

The Government of Romania announced that the company that won the auction for the purchase of these thermal scanners will bring them from Ireland on Friday, but only 5 will be brought, and it is not yet known in which airports they will be placed for use.

The Government of Romania he also says that 5 more will be brought in next week, 10 until March 20, and another 20 in the next 55 days, so the latter probably won't have time to be installed and put into operation until the summer of this year.

The Government of Romania undertook to buy thermoscanners for the airports in Romania with the idea of detecting in time the people who enter the country and have a fever, but unfortunately things are moving quite hard, even if the first 5 arrive already on Friday.

"I also want to give you good news. The company that won the tender for the delivery of the 35 thermal scanners for the 16 airports has committed that the first five pieces will arrive in Romania by Friday. So, five thermal scanners will be delivered this week."

The Government of Romania he did not say when these thermoscanners will be put into operation, simply bringing them to the country is not enough, because they must also be active to be able to analyze the temperatures of people entering our country in the coming weeks.
