RCS & RDS started 2020 with a series of extremely good news, announcing again that it is the company that registered the largest number of customers who decided to port in its network, setting a new record in Romania. RCS & RDS has not had a rival for several years in terms of network ports, those from Telekom being behind them, at a fairly large distance, but they thought of a plan that would bring them closer to Digi, or maybe even to surpass them in 2020.
RCS & RDS has always had the same offers for porting in its network, but those from Telekom made an even better one, ironically made by Digi Mobil during Black Friday 2019. Telekom chose to offer Romanian customers the opportunity to connect to the network without having a mandatory contractual period, but with the benefit of paying 50% of the subscriptions of 5/6 euros for a period of 12 months, which RCS & RDS does not have.

RCS & RDS he doesn't have anything as good at the moment, not even a partial discount for his porting subscriptions, but he will more than likely come up with something at least as good. At the moment, RCS & RDS has a weaker porting offer compared to Telekom, and this is due to the fact that it does not offer that discount for 12 months, and it is hard to say whether it will be able to match the German group with any offer that have similar benefits, also without the contractual period.
RCS & RDS had a similar porting offer on Black Friday 2019, with a 50% discount for 12 months on the subscription, but with a contractual period of 2 years, so even then the offer was lower. Now they could bring back that offer as one that is permanently valid, and even with a valid contractual period, those from RCS & RDS could still continue to attract a large number of customers through porting, the price ultimately matters the most .
RCS & RDS she will now have a bit more work to continue to remain in the top of the operators who have the most goalkeepers in Romania, but of course she is able to do this without problems.
