Apple allows ads in notifications for iOS applications

Apple has made a change for dedicated iOS applications that could bring us a much worse experience of using its iDevices, and this is because it allows developers to now also send advertisements through the notifications of their creations.

Apple recently announced changes to the rules regarding the development of applications for the iOS operating system, and although until now it prohibited this practice, it now allows it, probably also because it wants to promote its own products.

Apple says that users must agree to receive notifications with advertisements, but of course developers will abuse this rule and send them to us anyway, or trick us into accepting them somehow, but disabling them must be possible.

Last year Apple started sending notifications to promote their own products, even though other companies forbade such practices in their applications, so they are forced to allow everyone to send ads in notifications, if they do.

“Push notifications should not be used for promotions or direct marketing unless customers have explicitly opted-in to receive them through consent language displayed in your app's user interface and you provide a method in your app to for a user to opt out of receiving such messages. Abuse of these services may result in the revocation of your privileges."

The difference between then and now is that Apple didn't ask anyone if they wanted to receive ad notifications or not, while now it requires developers to do so before sending people promotional messages. .
