According to a Chinese publication, the Huawei MATE 40 Pro is going to have a new chip with a processor released during 2020, this being produced using a 5nm manufacturing process, as we were told in the past, so it's nothing new.

Those from Huawei will manufacture this chip at the same manufacturer used by Apple to produce the new A14 chip for the iPhone 12 series phones, so the Huawei MATE 40 Pro and the new Apple phones will have processors made with the same manufacturing process.
