The DSU continues its process of informing the population about the situation in Romania on March 7, 2020, and as you well know, unfortunately there have been 9 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection already on the territory of our country.

Two of these 9 cases of infection with the Corona virus were confirmed yesterday by the authorities, as they are also related to Italy, so far all the infections in our country originated from people who returned to the country from Italy, either by plane , or the bus.

3 people from Romania have already recovered from COVID-19, and 16 have remained in institutionalized quarantine, while the number of those isolated at home has reached 12927, a number that is constantly increasing, and will continue to increase what other people return from abroad.

It is extremely important that people placed in isolation at home respect this restriction imposed by the authorities, it being one of those that can limit the spread of the Coronavirus infection, but unfortunately not everyone respects it in the country.
