Netflix: The Unorthodox Film Presented to ALL Subscribers

Netflix presented the film Neo-Orthodox to subscribers around the world, and surprised some of its customers with the decision to finance such a creation.

Netflix has on its platform many films and series available to all those who pay a monthly subscription to watch its creations, or what it has licensed, and a film called Neo-Orthodox is also being prepared for release. Yes, Netflix financed the creation of a film that could upset quite a few people just because of its name, Neo-Orthodox being nevertheless thought to present the life of a young woman trying to escape from her ultra-Orthodox family.

Netflix presents in the trailer above part of the story that is described by his film, and we are talking about approaching a subject that is not so easy to present in a film, no matter what it is. All the action takes place in the cities of New York and Berlin, between which the young woman who leaves her community and her family ends up on her journey, Netflix having a film with quite a lot of potential, mainly because of the subject it addresses.

Netflix created this film based on a US bestseller, and in it we do not find important actors, but even so, it is possible that many people will appreciate it, but even more, that they will find themselves in the story presented there. In general, in films of this kind, there are many people who live in families, or communities, which have very well-established and imposed principles among their members, Netflix most likely wanting various controversies to be generated among them for promotion.

Netflix has prepared in 2020 investments of almost 20 billion dollars for original films and series, and among them, of course, creations like the one above will be found. Netflix wants to release about 400 original movies and series this year, much more than last year, and that's perfectly normal since it has a constantly growing subscriber base, and wants to attract more with content increasingly diversified.

Netflix it does not have special productions for Romania, but based on EU legislation it should also do something for subscribers from the country who pay to see the creations available in the multimedia library.
