The Romanian Government building is at the center of an alert for the Coronavirus, and this is because the woman from Bucharest infected with the new virus allegedly had contact during the day of March 8 with two people who work in the Victoria Palace.
The Ministry of Health says that the epidemiological investigation started following the confirmation of this woman's infection with the Coronavirus led to this discovery, and you can find more details in the press release below.
According to the mayor of Bucharest, Gabriela Firea, the person in question would have worked in the institution's kitchen, so it is possible that the staff working at the Victoria Palace will also be tested.
"In the context of the epidemiological investigation that is currently being carried out in relation to the 42-year-old woman from Bucharest, confirmed with the coronavirus (COVID-19) on March 8, checks are being carried out regarding the possible contacts of the person from among the staff which carries out activities in the Romanian Government building. We make it clear that preventive measures were taken in this case, being limited any contact with third parties that two of the people, who could be considered to have contact with the 42-year-old woman, could have had, requesting - they should stay at home with their families."
