DSU issued today a new information regarding the situation in Romania following the 8 new cases of infection confirmed on the territory of Bucharest, they come from both local sources and following trips to Italy and other European countries, plus Israel.
At the moment we have reached 25 people infected with the Coronavirus in Romania, the figure increasing from 17 during the day yesterday, so we are talking about a 50% increase in just one day, 3 of the infections being made by a single person who allegedly lied about a recent trip.
Regarding the number of people in quarantine, the number has doubled compared to this morning, reaching 107, and will more than likely increase as new epidemiological investigations are carried out by the Romanian authorities.
The number of people monitored at home has dropped to 11500 at the moment, about 1000 less than yesterday, and could drop further since flights and road/railways with Italy have stopped.
The biggest problem with the Coronavirus at the moment lies in the Romanians who lie and come from Italy to infect the Romanians in the country, as has already happened in various cases, but also with the Romanians who lie and travel to Italy even though it is forbidden.
