"On the evening of March 10, a case of COVID19 was confirmed at ING Tech, one of the global centers of the ING group. ING Tech is based in a different location than ING Bank's head office in Bucharest. The case is asymptomatic and is in quarantine, awaiting a new test.

The management of ING Tech has decided that, starting today, March 11, all 850 employees will work from home and close the offices for sanitation until, at least, Monday, March 16. Depending on the evolution of the situation, the following steps will be decided, together with the Directorate of Public Health and the state authorities.

As far as ING Bank is concerned, a series of precautionary measures have been applied according to the Business Continuity plan, and the work from home option is available to its employees. The bank's services are carried out normally, with no impact on the bank's activity and interactions with clients. Business continuity plans are developed and will be activated depending on the evolution of events, so that the bank's services are not affected.
