Apple is going to receive a new fine in France

Apple fines France

Apple is going to be fined again by the French authorities, this just a few weeks after it was fined for slowing down customers' iPhones without announcing beforehand what it intended to do.

Now the authorities in France want to fine the Apple company because of some non-competitive practices regarding the product distribution network, and we are talking about a possible rather large fine for those from Cupertino.

France will make a decision on Monday about the fine to be applied against Apple, and although the amount is not known, Google was fined 150 million euros because of the "opaque" rules for its ad network, so Apple could have a lot to pay.

"France's competition watchdog is set to strike Apple's iPhone on Monday over anti-competitive behavior in its distribution and sales network. One of the sources said that the competition authority will make a decision on this matter on Monday."
