The Ministry of Health offers some explanations regarding the questions that people have regarding the use of ibuprofen if they feel they have symptoms of the Coronavirus, or if using it even before having symptoms can in any way affect the evolution of the disease.

The whole situation with ibuprofen and the Coronavirus started at the weekend, from messages received by some on WhatsApp, then from corroborations with a message from the Minister of Health in France, but the Ministry of Health says that for now it is unclear what effect ibuprofen has on infected people with the coronavirus.

"World Health Organization specialists are in the process of evaluating the effects of administering ibuprofen to patients with the coronavirus. Hypotheses issued by French experts warned of possible adverse effects of ibuprofen administration in patients with coronavirus.

On March 17, 2020, the UK's National Health Service (NHS) announced that there is not strong enough evidence that ibuprofen worsens COVID19.
