Google World Art Day

Google celebrated World Art Day yesterday in a special way that is still available to all those interested, the American company having collections dedicated to the whole family that help both children and parents to learn in a more fun way .

"Google Arts & Culture is celebrating World Art Day, April 15, with family-friendly collections where parents and kids can learn new things about art, animals, science, space, books and music in a fun way. Anyone can explore the inside of a black hole, walk alongside Jurassic dinosaurs in virtual reality, or do magic like Harry Potter. The little ones can take tours of famous museums from all over the world with a penguin.

Also, everyone can celebrate art with a self-portrait in the style of a famous artist or works. For this, the Google Arts & Culture app has a new feature called Art Transfer, which takes a selfie (or any other photo) and adds the features of a famous painting of the user's choice. You can take a selfie in the style of Andie Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Edvard Munch or Vincent van Gogh.

To try Art Transfer, you need to open the "Camera" menu at the bottom of the main page of the Google Arts & Culture app, and then select "Art Transfer". After taking or uploading a picture, you can choose from dozens of available masterpieces, whose style will then be applied to the photo. For an even greater degree of customization, from the option under the "scissors" button (top right) you can select the portion of the photo to apply the chosen style.
The Google Arts & Culture app is available for free for iOS or Android. "
