Coronavirus continues to have new confirmed cases in Romania, and today we have reached a total of 8.936 of cases in our country, a very large number, continuously increasing, as everyone expected, and this week we will reach 10.000 confirmed cases.
As you can see, there are more and more people who have been declared cured after being infected with the new Coronavirus, which continues to be very good news, even if the number of people admitted to intensive care is still quite high.
5100 tests have been carried out since yesterday and until today in Romania, and 190 new cases have been confirmed, the testing capacity has only recently increased above the figure of 5000 tests daily, and it will increase in the next period for a better diagnosis .
Unfortunately, almost 4800 fines were applied only on the first day of Easter in Romania, totaling almost 12 million LEi, very large figures, and all because of the violation of military ordinances by Romanian citizens.

The police and gendarmes detected, in the last 24 hours, 4.787 people who did not comply with the traffic restriction measure. Contraventional sanctions were applied to these persons, in the amount of 11.834.677 lei.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, according to information obtained by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Romania abroad, 734 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 422 in Italy, 196 in Spain , 26 in France, 14 in Germany, 58 in the UK, 2 in Namibia, 2 in the USA, 3 in Austria, 2 in Belgium, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg and Sweden .
