DSU: Romanians can ask for free psychological help in a state of emergency

DSU, the Department for Emergency Situations, reminds Romanians that last week a special telephone line was launched that any Romanian can call to receive specialized psychological help from psychologists.

DSU collaborates with several entities in Romania to keep this special telephone line functional, and talks below about one of the people who answer the telephone calls received there, and how they can be of help.

We know well, we all have moments in life when the feeling of hopelessness or abandonment tries us. The reasons are various, the explanations can be numerous, but the most important aspect to know is that always, someone, somewhere is with us.

Today we share with you a story that moved the Telverde team.

She is Ana-Maria, a psychologist within the Proacta EDU Association, one of the warm voices who are on the other end of the Telverde line, those people who are close to those who, in a lost moment, no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel .

The phone is ringing. Ana-Maria answers.

On the other end of the line, a young woman desperately asks for his help. She feels alone, she has no one to talk to, no one to tell her the problems she is going through. He cannot ask for anyone's help, because the act of revealing is difficult. Maybe out of fear of showing vulnerability, maybe out of fear of worrying others.

Ana Maria listens to her and like any psychologist, practically helps her to understand, through the prism of the things exposed, that she herself is strong and with hope, introspection and motivation, she will overcome this moment.

Thus, the next day, Ana-Maria called her. The young woman burst into tears of joy when she heard again the voice of the one who, for an hour, was more than a friend. It was her hope.

"How are you feeling? You told us you feel lonely.
