More precisely, the WhatsApp application sends us a lot of notifications every day, from a lot of people, or even conversation groups, and sometimes it can be difficult to figure out who a certain message is coming from, but there is a trick for that too.
WhatsApp it gives us the opportunity to create personalized notifications for the various contacts we talk to in our everyday life, and that means we can choose what kind of sound or vibration comes with a notification. There are two different situations here, the first in the case of Android, where the WhatsApp application offers us the possibility to set the tone that is played when the notification comes from a certain contact, but including the vibration that is activated at that moment.

WhatsApp allows the selection of these notifications for Android from the information menu for a specific contact, there being a special setting called "Custom notifications", "Personalized notifications". You can see in the image above what kind of options are offered in this special section of the WhatsApp application for Android phones, and there is also a setting that allows us to choose whether that notification will be displayed as a pop-up or not.
WhatsApp it does not have as many options available on iPhone phones, in the case of Apple devices, only the possibility of choosing a predefined tone for each contact is offered.
